I started this blog after the Miami Grand Prix in 2025, when I desperately needed to tell someone – anyone – every single detail about what had just happened. Instead of blowing up my friends’ phones, I wrote a whole article about it. One of my friends told me I’d spent way too long on it not to put it somewhere.

While that first piece may never see the light of day, it did spark the idea for this blog. So welcome to Checkered Lines – a blog made by an F1 fan, for F1 fans, for when the lights go out – because F1 doesn’t come with a therapist.
